I received some gift money for my birthday in April 2026 and purchased the pro earbuds specifically for work to replace an old pair of Jabra Elite 75T. I need waterproof/water resistant earbuds with good noise cancelling as I work with machinery in all weathers. I have heard reasonably good things about Raycon online and on some of the podcasts I listen to, so I thought I'd gamble and give them a go.

The sound quality isn't bad, though the fit of each unit is bulkier than I am used to and does not feel as fitted/tight. I have used multiple sizes of tips to try and alleviate this, but one will still occasionally pop out.

The touch sensors on each earbud are constantly triggered by the hood of my raincoat. You might think 'Don't use your hood, a bit of rain wont hurt' - Well, unfortunately water also triggers the touch sensors on each earbud . In heavy showers this means your earbuds will cycle through the entire gamut of options; skip songs, pause, turn off one earbud, activate/deactivate noise cancelling. There is no way I can find of deactivating the touch sensors or 'locking' the earbuds.

The noise cancelling; To be blunt, it is not fit for purpose. I use 2-stroke engines all day. The ANC cannot compete. Popping sounds constantly battle with the engine noise as the ANC's microphones try desperately to cancel it out. I think this makes it more damaging to use the ANC as the pops really are quite uncomfortable. I just hope that the earbud stops enough noise from the machines to protect my hearing like a very expensive earplug.

A final very minor point - the lady who says "pairing mode" and "connected" etc sounds really irritated. Almost hostile. A strange thing that at least makes me smile, but I do also wonder at why this is the voice they went with.

The build quality seems good, but overall I regret my purchase. I do not buy expensive things often and it was a real shame that these have turned out to be effectively useless.

Love the ANC mode on these. My only issue is that they don't feel like they fit as well as the regular everyday earbuds, so my ears start to hurt after a while.
