Finally found earphones that I can talk to others AND listen to music.
Wow, these are so comfortable. They also stay in place much better than others I've owned, even when eating and talking. Great purchase, well worth the money.
One of my 11 month old ear bud failed (would not charge) and a new pair was sent under warranty. This was a very smooth process; great customer service.
The new model has a few welcome improvements. The charging case is smaller and the magnet retaining the buds inside the case seem stronger, so charging seems more consistent (I had to carefully clean and then push the ear buds inside the case for consistent charging).
There is now and audible “click” when you tap the buds for control, which makes the multiple taps much easier.
The sound is still very good and the open ear is great for riding my mountain bike so I can hear oncoming traffic.
It is still difficult to pick up a call using the “tap” control, and most of the time calls are canceled instead of picked up. Also, we can’t adjust the volume using the tap control, and this my be a problem when I am on my bike with the phone in my back pack.

While the touch controls can be very sensitive when I just need to move my hair, or if I am sweating and don't have it tied back. Otherwise, I adore these for being able to focus on a task, listen to a podcast or music while waiting for a call on another line or a delivery for which I need to hear a knock or bell. I'm glad I didn't listen to the early haters, Raycon has stuck around, cooked and are doing amazingly.
